Karen Pearlman’s trilogy of films, which bring back into the light the contributions of women to the history of the development of early cinema, have been extraordinarily well received.  Between them, they have won 24 awards, received more than 20 other nominations, including for an Australian Academy Award, as well as being long-listed for an Oscar, and screened at over 70 film festivals internationally.
